Ali Kashwani, is a 25-year-old Emirati artist from Sharjah, he graduated in Design from the American University of Sharjah and is currently Mastering in Art History at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Since 2012, he has participated in over 60 events and exhibitions nationally and has worked with several cultural institutions such as Abu Dhabi Culture, Dubai Culture, Sharjah Art Foundation, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Dubai Expo 2020, Cultural Foundation, Watani Foundation and others.
 
In addition, Ali Kashwani has represented the UAE in the international field when he was selected as UAE’s competitor in the Painting and Decoration category at Worldskills Abu Dhabi 2017. He has also won first place at Emirates Skills 2017 and Dubai Sketch battle 2019. In addition to participating as an artist, Ali Kashwani also conducts art workshops and has worked with entities such as SAF, Dubai Calendar, and Dubai Expo 2020.
 
Ali Kashwani's art style is inspired by different art movements and styles throughout history such as, 1920’s art nouveau, post impressionism, and modern Arab art movements. The focus of Kashwani’s paintings is often about people and the human experience and he drives his inspiration from his Arabian culture, environment and heritage.
